Mission Statement:
‘We believe in glorifying God through fellowship with one another and by sharing Christ’s love with the world.’
Fairview is a Christ-centered church nestled in the hills of southwest Virginia. Fellowship with one another is a priority – we strive to build bonds within our congregation through youth events, monthly men’s breakfasts, an active Presbyterian Women’s group, service projects, church outings, and breaking bread with one another through monthly church potlucks. We hold two weekly Bible studies and offer three different Sunday School classes following worship.
The inward strength of this church allows to us to shift our focus outwardly. Within our community we support the Carroll County Food Pantry, Tri-Area Pregnancy Center, Joy Ranch Home for Children, and the Presbyterian Home for Children. Internationally, Fairview has partnered with missionaries serving in Ethiopia and Southeast Asia, the Outreach Foundation, and a seminary student in Rwanda named Evariste. Fairview also has a deep gratitude for our nation’s military – hosting an annual Veteran’s Day service and meal and also sending care-packages to deployed soldiers. Baked sales and benefit dinners often raise funds for specific needs within the community.
Everything we do, whether fellowship activities or outreach projects, is done in response to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We affirm that we are great, great sinners who have a great, great Savior – and we live our lives in constant gratitude of this truth.
